Disappointing financial reports from Microsoft and Meta sent all three major US stock indexes tumbling in the final trading session of October. Microsoft shares fell 6% after the giant issued a revenue forecast for the next quarter that disappointed investors, despite beating estimates for revenue and profit in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, Meta (Facebook) shares also lost more than 4%.
