All three major indexes fell slightly on Tuesday as uncertainty surrounding the US economy curtailed the market's recovery. The Nasdaq lost 0.33%, weighed down by declines in Apple and Alphabet shares. Accenture shares fell more than 7% after the consulting firm revealed it had lost federal government contracts amid a spending crackdown by US President Donald Trump's administration.
