US stocks sold off as inflation fears returned. The core personal consumption expenditures price index (PCEPI) rose more than expected in February, rising 0.4% month-over-month and 2.8% year-over-year. Shares of several major tech companies fell, weighing on the broader market. Alphabet shares fell 4.9%, while Meta and Amazon both fell 4.3%.
