All three major U.S. stock indexes rose on Tuesday (June 3), fueled by Nvidia and other semiconductor stocks. Nvidia shares gained nearly 3%, pushing the company's market capitalization above Microsoft for the first time since January 2025. Similarly, shares of Broadcom and Micron Technology jumped more than 3% and 4%, respectively.

On June 3, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central USD/VND exchange rate at 24,982, up 12 dong from the previous session, marking the highest level since the mechanism was introduced in early 2016.

A series of positive domestic developments helped multiple sectors surge in Tuesday's session. Proprietary recorded a net sell of VND420 billion, mainly in GEX (VND574 billion), SSI (VND88 billion), and VCI (VND56 billion). On the buying side, they net purchased FPT (VND58 billion), TCB (VND43 billion), and HPG (VND43 billion).
