The Dow Jones index edged lower on Wednesday (June 18) following the latest policy update from the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed). The U.S. central bank kept interest rates unchanged, and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell stated that any decision to adjust rates would depend on how President Donald Trump’s tariff policies impact inflation.
