U.S. major stock indexes edged lower on Tuesday, after the ISM Services Index remained flat in July 2025, fueling concerns about stagflation that had already been stirred by recent weak employment data. Additionally, U.S. equities were weighed down by Donald Trump's comments to CNBC, where he stated that tariffs on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals would soon be implemented.
