U.S. stocks surged on Thursday (September 11) after labor market and inflation data were released. The job market showed further signs of slowing as weekly jobless claims came in higher than expected, reinforcing expectations that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates next week. Although U.S. CPI rose 0.4% in August 2025, above the forecast of 0.3%, investors largely believe this will not significantly alter the Fed’s rate decision.

Proprietary turned net buyers with VND 775 billion on September 11, led by HPG (VND 119 billion), Mirae Asset’s VN30 ETF (VND 98 billion), SHB (VND 92 billion), and GEX (VND 57 billion). On the other hand, they net sold MWG (VND 41 billion) and PLX (VND 22 billion).
