U.S. stocks were mixed on Thursday, a day after Nvidia's earnings report failed to impress investors, which weakened the group of technology stocks. Cash flows back to cyclical sectors helped the Dow Jones index rise slightly at the end of the session, while a 3.2% decline in the Philadelphia SE Semiconductor index dragged the technology Nasdaq down 1.2%.

Towards the end of the God of Wealth Day, the price of gold bars unexpectedly dropped. This morning, the bid price of SJC gold bars was 181 million VND/ounce and the ask price was 184 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 1.3 million VND per ounce in both directions compared to yesterday.
