On March 2, the S&P 500 rose slightly after the US attack on Iran, recovering significantly from the session's lows, as investors took advantage of the "bottom". Nvidia shares rose nearly 3% and Microsoft went up more than 1%. Only four of the 11 sectors in the S&P 500 index rose on the day: energy, industry, technology and real estate. President Donald Trump said the U.S. would "easily win" in Iran and predicted the conflict would last four to five weeks, but possibly longer.
