U.S. stocks continued their upward momentum despite rising oil prices as investors expected the two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran to be maintained. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that his country had agreed to open direct talks with Lebanon. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has called Israel's repeated attacks on Lebanon a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
