U.S. crude oil prices rose slightly in the morning session on Tuesday (May 26) after falling nearly 7% the previous day. Markets expect that the U.S. and Iran are moving closer to a peace deal that could reopen the Strait of Hormuz, though Washington and Tehran have downplayed the prospect of a breakthrough soon.
