This afternoon, Asian stock markets moved mixed in anticipation of the Fed meeting. Japan's Nikkei 225 broke through strongly and led the region's gains, South Korea's KOSPI was on holiday, China's Shanghai Composite also went up, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng turned around to correct. Regional sentiment is still dominated by oil price movements as the Strait of Hormuz is almost closed and shipping lines have not dared to return to this route.
