The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indices simultaneously fell even as oil prices cooled down as semiconductor stocks lost momentum after just one session of recovery. Micron Technology shares fell 1%, following the 20% decline recorded in the previous two trading sessions. Broadcom, which also had a similar sharp decline, continued to decline by 1% as the recovery slowed.
