US stocks simultaneously recovered in the weekend trading session thanks to momentum from semiconductor stocks. Intel led the rise in chip stocks, up 10.6% after President Donald Trump announced that the company would cooperate with Apple on chip design in the US. Other semiconductor companies such as Nvidia and Micron Technology also advanced by about 3% and nearly 9%, respectively.
