US stocks fell in the session of June 23 as the wave of sell-off in technology stocks continued to spread from the previous session, in the context of a sharp plunge in memory chip-related stocks in Asia and the US. The decline was narrowed somewhat by the recovery of some non-semiconductor technology stocks such as Microsoft and Amazon, and defensive stocks such as Walmart, Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.
