Getting Started

Update information

To change or update personal information on the securities trading account, please follow the instructions as follows:


1. OPTION 1: CHANGE/UPDATE INFORMATION ON PINETREE WEB TRADING

(Note: Change/update information online only applies to Vietnamese individual investor accounts)

Step 1: Customer access to Pinetree web trading  https://trade.pinetree.vn/#/home/bang-gia/vn30  and log in to your securities trading account

Step 2: Customer clicks on the account symbol in the upper right corner of the screen, then selects “Account”

Step 3: At the “Profile” section, the customer clicks the “Change” button in the information items that need to be changed accordingly

Step 4: Fills in the new information and then clicks “Update”

2. OPTION 2: CHANGE INFORMATION ONLINE ON PINETREE ALPHA TRADING APP

(Note: Change/update information online only applies to Vietnamese individual investor accounts)

Step 1: Customers log into securities trading account on Pinetree Alpha Trading application, then select the account icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Select the “Settings” icon

Step 4: At the Account Information screen, press the “Update” button at the information you want to adjust

Step 5: The system displays the information update screen, please fills new information and then presses the “Save” button. In case of change of ID card information, it is necessary to take a photo of the new ID card

GENERAL NOTES:

  • Customers who change registered phone number information need to authenticate/verify by SMS OTP sent to the old phone number. In case the customer loses the old phone number, the customer will change the information according to Option 3: Change the information by the hard copy of application form.
  • In case the Customer changes the information of phone number, bank account and/or email, but the Customer does not use the authentication method according to the prescribed method (SMS OTP and/or Smart OTP), the customer will change the information according to Option 3: Change the information by the hard copy of application form.
  • For changed information related to the contact address and information on the ID card, after the customer presses the “Save” button, the system will automatically display the pending approval status. The information will be updated after Pinetree processes and completes the information approval process.
  • When changing information related to ID card, please upload a clearly of 2-sided photo of ID card with all 4 corners, no corners cut and it is still in valid.
  • The bank account must be the original owner, with the customer’s full name. Bank account of foreign customers must be IICA account. Do not register other people’s bank accounts, including those of the customer’s representative/authorized.

3. OPTION 3: CHANGE/UPDATE INFORMATION BY HARD COPY OF “APPLICATION FORM ON REGISTRATION, ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION AND SERVICES”

Please complete the APPLICATION FORM FOR REGISTRATION, ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION AND SERVICES according to the following instructions:
In the section “Adjustment of information: Customers please fill in the registered information (Information before adjustment) and information that needs to be changed (Information after adjustment) and sign the corresponding box on the right. .
In the CUSTOMERS section (at the end of the Application): Sign and write your full name.

Note:

  • In case of change of ID card/CCCD: Customers please attach a copy of old and new ID/CCCD.
  • For customers who open an account via Ekyc and using E-contract: Customer provides a scanned copy/photocopy of the original bank transaction order/Life insurance contract/Real estate transfer contract/Other contract with merit Notarization/Marriage Certificate provided that there is a round seal of the bank/insurance unit/notary unit/competent People’s Committee. Scans copy or picture must be made from the original, ensuring clear content, customer’s signature, and red seal on the document.
